Katrina Wagoner

University of San Diego School of Law

Katrina Wagoner is a third year law student at the University of San Diego School of Law. She is the Co-founder & Public Relations Officer for Students for Cross Racial Understanding. She is also a member of the Women’s Law Caucus and Black Law Students Association.

Katrina is a first generation law student who is professionally and personally invested in pursuing a career in domestic violence advocacy. She has spent two consecutive summers working closely with survivors in domestic violence legal clinics, using her education and skills to directly help individuals in need. Katrina has a deep understanding of the impact abuse has on victims. She states, "Restraining orders can restore the peace of mind that survivors were robbed of. My plan is to use my legal education to advocate for these incredibly strong individuals."

SOAR for Justice is pleased to award Katrina a $500 Scholarship in recognition of her strength and passion for helping victims of abuse.
